ERBM - Easy regulation bin Merger

✨ Overview

Easy regulation bin merger (ERBM) is a small standalone tool for Elden Ring Nightreign that lets you:

• 
  
• Pick two modded regulation.bin files
  
  
• Choose which file has priority (File #1 wins or File #2 wins)
  
  
• Generate a single merged regulation.bin you can install as your final regulation
  
  

Why ERBM?

Because multiple mods often ship their own regulation.bin — and you can only use one final regulation at a time.







✅ Quick Start

1. 
   
2. Extract the tool anywhere (do not run from inside the ZIP).
   
   
3. Run ERBM.cmd.
   
   
4. Select your Regulation file #1 (primary).
   
   
5. Select your Regulation file #2 (secondary).
   
   
6. Choose Priority:
   
   
   • 
     
   • Prefer File #1 (File #1 wins when both mods touch the same thing)
     
     
   • Prefer File #2 (File #2 wins when both mods touch the same thing)
     
     

(Optional) Enable Backup save-game (recommended).

Click Generate merged regulation.bin and wait.

Your output will be saved here:

regulation_merged\regulation.bin

Important: Only one regulation.bin should be installed at a time.







? Optional: Save-game Backup

ERBM can back up your Nightreign save folder automatically.



If you enable the checkbox, ERBM will copy:

%AppData%\Nightreign



Into:

save-game_backups\Nightreign-YYYY-MM-DD_HH-mm



Example:

save-game_backups\Nightreign-2026-01-11_14-37







? Compatibility / Version Notes

Mixing regulations from different game patches can break things.



ERBM includes a lightweight compatibility check against its integrated Nightreign base regulation.

If your selected files look mismatched, ERBM will warn you before generating so you can decide whether to continue.







⚠ Online / Anti-Cheat Warning

Using regulation.bin mods online may trigger anti-cheat or disable online features.

Recommended for offline play or mod-friendly co-op setups only.







? Troubleshooting & Logs

If something goes wrong, ERBM writes logs for diagnosis:

• 
  
• Logs\launcher.log (main log)
  
  
• Logs\launcher_last.txt (launcher transcript)
  
  

Tip: Always extract the tool fully before running (don’t run from a “blocked” ZIP).
