What it does
Reverts the scaling changes made to Marais Executioner's Sword and Grafted Blade Greatsword in 1.02.2.
For those who don't know, the Marais Executioner's Sword and Grafted Blade Greatsword have special effects that both provide scaling buffs based on number of enemies defeated. In Patch 1.02.2 a hard limit was set on how high this value could climb, so I've reverted those changes here, including increment values. Before the patch it was a well-documented effect that featured in 1-hit KO challenges etc. They need to be wielded (either hand) to add to the effect.
The Marais sword increases damage and is going to serve as the 1-hit mechanic. GBGS does as well, but it primarily serves to max out your bars and absorption. Ideally you will roll Freja or Wormface to generate infinite enemies, but this is not necessary.
Using both at once for a full run can cause damage to spill over the max due to an engine limitation, and you'll do zero damage after that. Light attacks at 10-20k signify this is about to happen. The only way to reset it is to fully die (fall off the map's edge if it's a night boss) which resets the counter, and that is your failsafe.Note: at the moment there is no kill-counter on the active effects screen. I couldn't find the source of that issue, so if you know, please let me know.Versions
