Loadout Skins is a mod for "Add More Skins for Nightreign - Without Replace" that adds loadouts for several of the different skins, both added and vanilla. The mod also has many balance changes. The balance changes are mostly just for the weapons that are made into starting weapons, but they also include some buffs to some of the relics that I personally found disappointing in the vanilla game. Included is a merged regulation.bin compatible with "DMN/Deflect Me Not".
Some of the most notable balance changes include:
- Complete revamp of the continuous healing effects in the game, making them far more effective and making the healing ticks smaller so the effect looks smoother.
- Smoothed out the Night Tide damage so it's smooth like the healing effects and also replaced the insta-kill effect that happens after 2 minutes with a stage of warning for 30 seconds in which the damage received ticks every half a second so that you can know that severe damage is about to incur, then the high damage stage starts which is almost impossible to survive in for long, but you will at least have a lot more time than insta-kill.
- Disabled the extra Night Tide damage after the second Night Boss.
- Added effects to all the characters to apply various nerfs or buffs to help balance the game with all the alterations. ***This mod is primarily balanced for DMN, and I suggest using it with that mod and with my settings for it.
Mod Engine 3 Manager
Intallation:
1. Install Mod Engine 3 and also Mod Engine 3 Manager.
2. Unzip the contents of this mod, and drop the folder "nightreign-mods" into your profiles folder (Something like this "C:\Users\****\AppData\Local\garyttierney\me3\config\profiles")
3. Open Mod Engine 3 Manager and set Loadout Skins as the active Regulation.
4. Delete the "msg" folder in the More Skins mod (Not the one in Loadout Skins.)
