Class Talismans - Overhauled Combat and Party Mechanics

I apologize for the long wait. I'm getting back into modding now and had to remember how I even did all this.

Intended for use with Seamless Co-op, but playable in solo save files. There are 5 new talismans added to Kale's inventory, each providing new mechanics and overhauls to gameplay and combat. Best used while in a party with other players using different Class Talismans.

I am working on an update for this mod to fix some things, and tweak the talismans. If you have feedback, comment and let me know what changes you'd like to see. I'm also working on possible perks for each talisman.

Below are some of the effects. Some are kept hidden as secret mechanics for the player to discover, but there are hints about them within the item descriptions.

Bulwark's Locket (Tank)

+5 Vigor

+5 Endurance

Considerable buffs to defense across the board, including health, some extra stamina mechanics, guard boost, poise, enhanced guard counters, increased threat and equip load. Slight HP Regen.

Severely reduced offensive capabilities, you must rely on your party to deal damage, while you protect them. Increases Skill FP Cost

Outlander's Keepsake (DPS)

+5 Strength

+5 Dexterity

Buffs to ranged mechanics and critical hits, extra stamina and recovery, heavily reduced Skill FP cost (Ashes of War).

Reduced equip load, reduced defenses.

Shaman's Icon (DPS)

+5 Faith

+5 Arcane

Buffs elemental damage (fire and lightning). Has increased poise and slight FP regen with a small casting speed buff.

Boasts considerable resistances. Enhances two-handed attacks and charged attacks.

Reduced equip load and non elemental damage (magic and holy).

Mage's Scrolls (DPS)

+5 Mind

+5 Intelligence

Buffs magic damage. Raises FP and has a large FP regen. Resistant to magic damage. Large casting speed buff.

Lowers HP, defenses, and equip load considerably. Holy and Lightning damage output is cut in half.

Cleric's Prayerbook (Healer)

+5 Mind

+5 Faith

Buffs holy and lightning damage. Raises FP and has a large FP regen. Resistant to holy damage. Large casting speed buff.

Lowers HP, defenses, and equip load considerably. Magic and Fire damage output is cut in half.

Be sure to run the Setup UI Images shortcut which will port over necessary game files from Elden Ring.

This is to cut the download size from over a Gigabyte. Don't worry, the setup will be very quick.

I was inspired by an old and outdated mod, but took nothing from it. Everything in this mod is my own hard work.

Install with Mod Engine 2 and follow along with this guide if you're new to using mods:

Go to the Mod Engine 2 page through the link provided above (right click the orange text, click "Open link in new tab")
Click Assets, then download the top .zip file
Extract the contents of the .zip into a folder
Download my mod, place the contents into Mod Engine 2's mod folder
FOR THIS MOD SPECIFICALLY: Run the "Setup UI Images" shortcut which will port over necessary game files from Elden Ring
Double click the launchmod_eldenring.bat file in Mod Engine 2 to launch Elden Ring with the mod
When you want to play Elden Ring normally or online, quit the game and launch through steam

Guide for merging using the CSV files provided in the download page:

Get the regulation.bin of the mod you'd like to merge mine with
Open it with Smithbox
At the top of the screen, go to the Param Editor tab
Search for the Parameters in my CSV file provided under optional files in the download page
Click on the first one, then click data at the top of the screen, then import CSV
Import CSV -> From File -> All Fields
Import the CSV corresponding to the parameter in Smithbox (for instance, to import my SpEffectParam CSV, search for SpEffectParam, make SURE you click on the parameter, and then import the SpEffectParam CSV, you'll have to do this for each CSV I provided)
File -> Save All Modified Rows
Make sure you put the extra files/folders inside of your Mod Engine 2 "mod" folder along with the newly merged regulation.bin file
To export another mod's CSVs, you follow the same process but then click Export CSV -> All Modified Rows -> Export To File -> Export All Fields
